Ölis

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: April 7, 2026 · Last Updated: April 7, 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Olis Technologies, LLC, doing business as Ölis, collects, uses, discloses, and stores information when people use the Ölis website, QR-based guest check-in experience, restaurant success screens, campaign landing pages, manager portal, and related services (collectively, the Service).

2. Our Relationship With Participating Restaurants

Participating restaurants are separate businesses with their own customer relationships, offers, internal policies, and operational decisions. When a guest checks in with a restaurant through Ölis, the restaurant may receive information related to that guest, the guest's visits, and that guest's interactions with that restaurant through the platform.

Restaurants are responsible for their own marketing choices and in-venue business practices. If you have questions about a specific restaurant's handling of your information, you should contact that restaurant directly in addition to contacting us.

3. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, information generated through use of the Service, and limited technical data.

  • Guest check-in data: email address, restaurant selected, table or venue context passed through the QR code or check-in flow, and visit timestamps.
  • Guest relationship and redemption data: visit history, tier or access status, rewards, comps, guest-facing QR redemptions, and related campaign history for a participating restaurant.
  • Campaign and messaging data: delivery status, recipient lists, unsubscribe records, tokenized campaign links, and interaction events such as clicks to a guest landing page.
  • Manager account data: email address, invited role, restaurant permissions, login events, and authentication artifacts handled through our authentication provider.
  • Technical and usage data: IP address, browser or device data, timestamps, referral information, cookies or authentication tokens, and basic logs used for security, troubleshooting, and performance.

4. How We Use Information

  • operate guest check-in, visit records, success screens, rewards, and guest QR redemption flows;
  • operate manager accounts, invitations, login links, and team access controls;
  • send service and administrative messages, including login links, invitations, and account-security notices;
  • send promotional guest emails on behalf of participating restaurants, including offers, updates, and return-visit campaigns;
  • measure campaign performance, enforce unsubscribe and anti-spam rules, and improve the Service;
  • detect abuse, investigate incidents, and protect the security of the Service; and
  • comply with law, enforce agreements, and respond to valid legal requests.

5. When We Share Information

We do not currently sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose information in the following circumstances:

  • to the participating restaurant associated with a guest's check-in, reward, or manager account;
  • to service providers that help us operate the Service, such as hosting, database, authentication, and email-delivery vendors;
  • when necessary to protect the Service, users, restaurants, or the public;
  • to comply with law, regulation, legal process, or lawful government request; and
  • as part of a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset sale.

6. Email Communications and Choices

The Service is email-based for guest check-in and manager access. Guests may receive service-related emails tied to a check-in, visit, reward, or restaurant interaction. Managers may receive invite emails, login links, and account-security messages.

Guests may also receive promotional emails sent through Ölis on behalf of a participating restaurant. You can opt out of promotional emails by using the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting us at hello@olisaccess.com. Transactional or security-related messages generally cannot be opted out of while the relevant account or workflow remains active.

7. Cookies, Authentication Tokens, and Logs

We and our providers use cookies, authentication tokens, and similar technologies necessary to keep users signed in, maintain session integrity, secure the Service, and understand basic product performance. We do not currently use the Service for targeted advertising.

8. Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Service, maintain business records, enforce our agreements, prevent fraud and abuse, satisfy restaurant reporting needs, and comply with legal obligations. Different categories of information may be retained for different periods depending on the nature of the record and the relationship involved.

9. Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. U.S. State Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and whether an applicable state privacy law applies to our business and processing activities, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of personal information that we control, and to appeal certain request decisions. Some requests may also need to be directed to the relevant participating restaurant.

To make a privacy request, contact hello@olisaccess.com. We may need to verify your identity before processing a request.

11. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Service. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information to us, contact us and we will review the issue.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we do, we will post the revised version on this page and update the Last Updated date above.
